1. Chinawoman – Party Girl
On pourrait croire que ce titre a été composé pour le film du même nom. Mais non. La voix de la chanteuse du groupe Chinawoman résonne depuis plusieurs années.

2. Foxygen – How Can You Really
Le retour des 2 fous de Foxygen. Avec une désinvolture qui rappelle celle de Christopher Owens (époque Girls). Le nouvel album du duo, …And Star Power, arrivera le 14 octobre, avec 24 chansons.

3. Horsebeach – Yesterdays
Quand l’équipe du Midi Festival met en avant un groupe, on fonce les yeux fermés évidemment. Dernier coup de coeur en date, Horsebeach originaire de Manchester.

4. Avi Buffalo – So What
Comment ne pas tomber sous le charme de cette voix ? Balancé au travers d’une mélodie sautillante, So what est extrait du deuxième album d’Avi Buffalo, mené par Avi Zahner-Isenberg.

5. Eyedress – My Hologram
L’électro de ce jeune Philippin nous persuade que l’été arrivera en septembre. Si si.

6. L’impératrice – Sonate Pacifique
Un peu jazz, un peu électro et pas mal disco, L’impératrice diffuse ses effluves caramel avec un nouveau titre : Sonate Pacifique.

7. Blackbird Blackbird – Tangerine Sky
Ils sont forts ces Californiens. Forts pour nous donner le vertige. Le Californien Mikey Maramag à l’orogine du projet BlackBird Blackbird a dévoilé un quatrième album au début de l’été : tombons amoureux.

8. The Drums – I Can’t Pretend
Alors que le premier extrait du troisième album de The Drums était trop sec, incisif pour moi, je ne peux m’empêcher de tomber sous le charme, presque enfantin, de I Can’t Pretend.

9. Tape Waves – Let You Go
L’été n’est pas fini. A t-il vraiment commencé ? Fermons les yeux, c’est tout comme.

10. Coralie Clément – La Belle Affaire
Cinq ans après le très réussi Toystore, Coralie Clément revient presque en chuchotant, avec un titre aux airs de Salles des Pas Perdus, son premier album. La belle affaire, le quatrième, sortira à l’automne.
